The Duke is the seventeenth studio album by English musician Joe Jackson. The album was released on 26 June 2012 by Razor & Tie Recordings.[6][7]
The album is a tribute to Duke Ellington, the American composer, pianist, and bandleader of a jazz orchestra.
Upon its release, The Duke received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 59 based on 10 reviews, which indicates 'mixed or average reviews'.[2]
